A Much-Needed Day Off: Family, Baseball, and Cosmic Fun
Yesterday, John and I hit the pause button on the daily hustle and took a much-needed day off. It felt so good to step away, recharge, and just spend time together doing something fun.
We started the day in Indiana visiting John’s brother and his family. It’s always nice catching up and sharing laughs—it reminded me how important it is to carve out time for family even when life feels nonstop.
Afterward, John and I made our way up to Victory Field in Indianapolis for something totally new to us—a cosmic baseball game between the Tri-City Chili Peppers and the Glow Mojis. And let me tell you… it was an absolute blast! ⚾
The whole experience had this fun, glowing energy (literally). Between the music, lights, and lively atmosphere, it felt like more than just a baseball game—it was an event. John and I laughed, cheered, and soaked in every moment.
We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already made a little plan for next year. The team will be playing in Nashville, and we’ve decided to go again—but this time, we’re taking the grandbabies. They would thoroughly enjoy all of it, and I can already picture their little faces lighting up with excitement.
Sometimes a simple day trip turns into a memory you’ll hold onto forever. Yesterday was one of those days, and I’m so glad we gave ourselves that break.
